An Evening In History with James Baldwin, Feat. Charles Reese:
This literary presentation and performance reading is coupled with an open audience discussion that explores race relations.
As a catalyst for the conversation, Reese uses James Baldwin and Attorney General Robert Kennedy’s Secret Summit of 1963, which took place three months before Martin Luther King’s March on Washington Also in attendance: Lorraine Hansberry, Lena Horne, Harry Belafonte & Dr Kenneth Clark.
